Here you see the car in the condition just before the restauration and modification process got underway. It's badly corroded and run down but complete, including the typical Pagoda-style hardtop. Not a very pretty sight now is it.
Starting the job by taking the car apart and checking what needs to be fixed or modified. A daunting task by the looks of it.
A view of the stripped interior with the worst corroded parts cut out, also in order to make room for the new engine and gearbox. You see the transmission tunnel on the right with the handbrake next to it.
The left hand side of the interior with new sheet metal welded into the holes you saw above. Still a long way to go...
